Klook, Asia’s leading platform for travel and experiences, has put the spotlight on the country’s tourism players through its first-ever Partner Awards in the Philippines, underscoring the vital role of collaborations in reviving domestic travel.
The awards night gathered more than 200 merchants from across the country—operators, resorts, and mobility providers who have been working with Klook to build seamless travel experiences for both local and international visitors.
Eric Gnock Fah, Klook’s president and co-founder, credited the company’s growth in the Philippines to its partnerships on the ground. “This event was organized to celebrate the operators that deliver all these amazing experiences and services to travelers locally and around the world,” he said.

Klook Philippines general manager Michelle Ho noted the platform’s steady rise, driven by strong traction in attractions, hotels, and mobility services. “Thanks to our merchants, Klook Philippines has become the number one most trusted travel app in the market, covering over 99 cities,” she said, adding that the company remains bullish on deepening its domestic networks.
The Department of Tourism, represented by assistant secretary Sharlene Zabala-Batin, lauded the effort, calling the event proof of how digital platforms can fuel inclusive growth. “Your dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence inspire us to keep moving forward in our mission to make the Philippines a globally competitive and sustainable tourism destination,” she said.
A total of 42 Filipino companies were recognized across 16 categories. Winners included Enchanted Kingdom for “Best of the Philippines – Attractions,” The Henann Group of Resorts for “Best of the Philippines – Hotels,” Southwest Tours for “Best of the Philippines – Mobility,” and Hotel101 Group for “Best of the Philippines – Hotels.” Each cited how their partnerships with Klook helped expand reach, strengthen online presence, and craft innovative promotions that resonate with today’s travelers.

For readers, the story matters because tourism is not only about leisure—it’s a driver of jobs, investments, and community growth. By equipping local businesses with digital reach and visibility, platforms like Klook enable smaller operators to compete on a bigger stage, turning once-hidden destinations and services into accessible choices for a global audience.
It also signals where Philippine tourism is headed: more integrated, more digitally savvy, and more collaborative. As travel demand continues to rebound, the ability of companies like Klook to connect travelers with homegrown experiences will play a decisive role in shaping how the industry—and the country—recovers and grows.
By honoring its local partners, Klook not only recognized milestones but also positioned itself as a key ally in sustaining the momentum of Philippine tourism.
