Three years ago, PICKUP COFFEE was just an idea: serve quality coffee at everyday prices, starting with a handful of food trucks parked in busy corners of Metro Manila. Today, the proudly Filipino brand has grown into a caffeine powerhouse with over 400 stores nationwide—and it’s setting its sights far beyond local shores.
“We’ve grown from a bold idea to something so much bigger than we ever imagined,” said Francis Flores, PICKUP COFFEE’s country CEO and president. “It’s inspiring that a local, proudly Filipino brand has this nationwide reach. We’re opening about 20 stores every month.”
That homegrown success story is now brewing overseas. The brand recently entered Mexico, opening 40 stalls in what Flores calls a “test market” for its global push. The choice wasn’t random—Mexico’s 132 million population mirrors the Philippines’ demographic profile, but with an even deeper coffee culture. “We’re the only value player there for the young market that questions why coffee is so expensive—the same proposition as here,” he said.

Despite its rapid growth, PICKUP COFFEE hasn’t lost sight of its founding philosophy: to make coffee accessible without sacrificing quality. That ethos is front and center in its new campaign, “Feel the PICKUP,” celebrating the little moments that brighten people’s days—whether it’s a shared laugh, a quiet pause, or that first comforting sip of coffee.
The campaign emphasizes that joy isn’t only in life’s big milestones but also in what PICKUP calls “glimmers”—those in-between moments that spark warmth and connection.
PICKUP COFFEE also introduced a new line of eight frappuccinos called PICKUP Frappes, which starts at P99. The flavors range from Filipino-favorite Kape Kastila (Spanish Latte) to playful options like Oreo, Triple Choco Chip, and Brown Sugar Coffee Jelly.

With the new Frappes, PICKUP COFFEE adds a sweeter, more playful side to its menu—proving that indulgence can also be a source of comfort.
The launch also marked the debut of Pickup Club, a rewards program available through the brand’s app, offering discounts, anniversary treats, and delivery perks. It’s part of a broader effort to build stronger connections with loyal customers while inviting new ones to join the fold.

Innovation extends to the café experience itself. While PICKUP COFFEE made its name in compact, grab-and-go kiosks, it recently opened its first full-concept café, PICKUP PRIME, in SM Seaside, Cebu City. The store features a sleek design and exclusive coffee creations; a second branch will open soon in Vertis North, Quezon City. By offering a place where customers can connect, it’s expanding the definition of “uplift” from just a quick caffeine fix to a shared experience.
PICKUP COFFEE has always been proudly homegrown, growing from a local concept into a nationwide brand committed to making quality coffee fast, accessible, and affordable for everyone. And whether you’re in Manila or Mexico, there’s always a reason to “feel the pickup.”
